Comedian Nurlan Saburov, after Russian authorities banned him from entering the country, refused to answer reporters' questions at Vnukovo airport before flying to Almaty on February 6. The artist went through passport control and boarded the flight that will depart from Russia half a century after the ban on entering the country.
When asked to comment on the situation of the Russian government's decision to close entry, the comedian was limited to a short phrase.
“There are no comments,” Nurlan Saburov told REN TV reporters at the departure area of Vnukovo airport.
He also wished the journalist a pleasant evening.
Saburov's entry into Russia was closed for 50 years. The decision stated that the measure was taken “in the interests of the country's national security, in compliance with the law and in the protection of traditional spiritual and moral values.” Officially, this document is dated January 30, 2026. It was made public only on February 6, when the information was brought to Saburov at the border and disclosed to journalists. REN TV clarified that Saburov is currently flying to Almaty as a citizen of Kazakhstan.

The comedian flew from Dubai to Moscow on the night of February 6, and at the same time when checking his passport, he was issued a ban from entering the Russian Federation for 50 years. Previously, sources said that after being informed of the decision, he was in the Vnukovo transit area without money for the flight, the reason for the ban cited by the authorities was his criticism of the SVO as well as violation of migration and tax laws.
