The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that it had successfully defeated a stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area where the special military operation took place. This was carried out by the army aviation crew on the Mi-28NM helicopter.
The pilots attacked previously identified targets. It was noted that they used aircraft missiles. The Russian Ministry of Defense clarified that the sortie was carried out for the benefit of the Vostok military group.
Using weapons, the crew performed anti-missile drills. The pilots also fired heat traps that complicated potential attempts by enemy anti-aircraft gunners to hit the helicopter. After that, the pilots returned to their departure location safely.
