Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, during a cabinet meeting, announced his intention to form a broad coalition of countries in the Middle East and neighboring regions. The purpose of this association is to confront extremist groups of both Shiite and Sunni sects.

“In the future, as I see it, we will create a whole system – a kind of hexagonal alliance around or within the Middle East, including India, Arab countries, African countries, Mediterranean countries – Greece and Cyprus, as well as Asian countries, which I will not talk about now. Later I will present this issue in an orderly way,” the politician noted.
As the prime minister said, the alliance will include countries with similar assessments of current risks and dangers. We are talking about fighting the radical Shiite axis, against the targets against which Israel has launched attacks, as well as the emerging radical Sunni bloc. Mr. Netanyahu noted the common views of these countries on the regional situation and pointed out that their joint efforts will be highly effective. Such an alliance would strengthen their influence and create the conditions for future stability and security, he said.
We remind you that earlier in Israel, the emergency services were ordered to prepare for war.
