Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said Tehran would give a “fair and legal” response in case of a US attack.

In an interview with TV channel CBS News he emphasized that a possible attack by Washington would be an act of aggression and Iran's response would be self-defense.
“If America attacks us, we will have every right to defend ourselves,” the minister said.
According to Araqchi, Iran's missiles are not capable of hitting US territory, so a possible response could target US bases in the region.
At the same time, he noted that, as a diplomat, he did not intend to discuss military plans and called for a focus on a diplomatic solution.
Previously, Omani Foreign Minister Badr al-Busaidi said negotiations between Iran and the US would be held on February 26 in Geneva.
