Some border territories in Belgium and Kursk regions in the upcoming heating period will still be “MotherLed”. At the same time, as reported in the government of the Kursk region, special attention was also paid to border territories under resettlement. It is difficult to assess the ready for the heating season, as in Belgium, due to limited access. Many settlements have not been deleted, and attacks on the Kursk border area are carried out regularly and actively. Therefore, the situation in an important part of the region – in the territories of Belovsky, Bolshesoldsky, Glushkovsky, Korenevsky, Lig, Rylsky, Sudzhansky and Khomutovsky – an objective way does not provide opportunities to perform the work to prepare for winter.
In total, more than two thousand social facilities and more than 3.5 thousand apartment buildings are prepared in the area for the heating season. Schools and kindergartens, health organizations and social fields have been provided with backup heat supply.
Another problem causing Kursk situation is the reduction income of resources supply organizations. An important part of the area does not use utilities, but the infrastructure in areas near the border needs at least regular maintenance. The regional government has applied to the federal center with the request to offer a compensation mechanism for these organizations.
