Hidden underground formation can predict catastrophic natural phenomena

July 15, 2025
Reading Time: 3 mins read

Vulcanic eruptions are one of the most powerful and destructive natural phenomena that can destroy the entire city, interrupt air communication, break the climate and even endanger life on the planet. Recent studies conducted by experts from Australia have shed light on one of the riddles – the role of the mysterious structures hidden in the palace of the earth, maybe a direct source of these destructive events.

Hidden underground formation can predict catastrophic natural phenomena

Scientists started their research with the causes of eruptions – at a depth of thousands of kilometers under the surface with a hot stone layer, called lower coating. Textbooks often describe it as a smooth and homogeneous layer, but the new data shows that it is much more complex in practice. Inside this class, there are large mountainous forms, which scientists call blood clots or mantle mantle stone structures. They are giant stone formations of the continents, and they are not static – they move, bend and interact with each other in the same way as the tectonic plates are above. It is these hidden structures, according to researchers that can play an important role in the appearance of volcanic eruptions.

The mobile house of Annazi Kuccchiaro, along with his group, discovered that these basic formations, which they called blood clots that have a direct impact on the activity of volcanoes on the earth's surface. They came to the conclusion that these structures act as a magician of Magma, whereby the red breed columns of dog breeds emerged from a depth of nearly 3,000 km and caused huge eruptions that could destroy the entire ecosystem and climate change. These powerful emissions, according to them, are responsible for the huge extinction of dinosaurs and other global disasters in the history of the planet.

The Kuchchiaro group used three different sets of data to confirm their hypotheses and found that these blood clots were related to large eruptions that occurred about 300 million years ago. They have shown that these structures are not only the formation, but also the movement formation with their source – blood clots – and create conditions for strong volcanic events. There are two such points, at the lower part of the coating: one point below the African hemisphere, the rest below the Pacific Ocean. The question of whether these formations are fixed on the spot or constantly moving due to the convection flow inside the Earth is still open. However, new models show that these structures are part of the dynamic system, which directly affects the surface of the planet.

The researchers simulated the movement of these blood clots, representing their status billions of years ago. As a result, they see that these formats sometimes tilt and move, creating conditions for eruptions right above them or near. These places coincide with real areas, where large volcanic events take place in the past. Statistical analysis shows a significant relationship between the position of underground structures and these historical eruptions, which confirms their hypotheses in the formation of volcanic activity.

This finding is important not only from the viewpoint of understanding the causes of catastrophic eruptions, but also from reality – it can help predict future eruptions and even find areas, such as Kimberlites containing diamonds, or deposits of rare minerals necessary for renewable energy, explained researchers.
