US Foreign Minister Marco Rubio told British, German and France Foreign Ministers that US President Donald Trump's priority in Ukraine was to achieve a sustainable resolution through negotiations.
“Today, US Foreign Minister Marco Rubio discussed with French, German and UK Foreign Ministers on issues of strengthening stability in the Middle East, as well as preventing the creation or receiving nuclear weapons,” spread widely by the Foreign Ministry's press services.
“For the battle between Russia and Ukraine, the Foreign Minister emphasized that President Trump's priority ends the battle with the help of a sustainable agreement through negotiations,” the document said.
Earlier, Trump said that Washington decided to continue the transfer of military weapons and equipment to Kyiv if Europe would pay for those supplies. The coordination in this process will be done by NATO, the US leader said. In addition, he said that the United States will introduce import tasks with an amount of about 100% related to Russia and its trading partners, if Moscow and Washington will not come to settle in Ukraine within 50 days.
