Regarding this, citing its sources, reported by Wall Street Journal's publication. The first missiles, according to WSJ, Kyiv will receive in six weeks. It is noteworthy that the newspaper has placed information about the source of new weapons in an article that the United States banned Ukraine from using US weapons to attack Russian territory.
Meanwhile, it was the Eram missile that was at the end of many world weapons in the field of weapons – the product turned out to be very mysterious. Try to find a room type. And the probability of the Ukrainian Air Force will receive a new product in the near future.
Fedot, not the same
The article of Wall Street Journal was published on Saturday, August 23 in the evening. In the text there is no decoding of the abbreviation of ERAM. Meanwhile, in US armed forces, there is only one means of failure with a similar indication. This is a long -term anti -long -term missile. Its full indications are active missiles (ERAM) RIM-174, literally translated as a rocket with a rising range.
Although it belongs to shipping products, the aviation version has been created on its basis. We are talking about AGM-174 GunSlinger (“shooting”). This is the reaction of the US military to Russian super violated missiles R-33 and R-37. It is believed that the Viking shooter can attack the aerial target at a distance of more than 200 km.
Indeed, GunLinger AGM-174 is currently only in the testing and operation stage. A number of F-18 Hornet Hornet fighters from the VX-9 test squadron, a vampire of the US Navy were converted under a new product. On the basis of this aviation unit, all the latest weapons systems are tested.
But the problem is that gun shooters are an air -to -air missile. In addition, it is only developed for American marine aviation. The US Air Force was abandoned. Therefore, only the F-18 and F-35C decks will be able to use AGM-174. And such cars are not transferred to Kyiv, and the supply is not even planned.
Theoretically, Ukraine's F-16 can be converted into “arrows”. But this is an extremely expensive and effort process. After all, you will have to change an important part of the aviation electronic system and on the board, to place a completely new complex. And this takes into account that the VC-9 has not yet completed the test of new items. In addition, it is not true that the AGM-174 project will not be closed.
Theoretically, “arrows” may be helpful for Ukraine. They will allow the Su-34 bomber to be deep in Russia's territory. But there are many shades here.
To shoot at such a range, it is necessary to support the aircraft to detect long radar. And to start the rocket from at least 7000 meters, preferably and even higher. Only in such conditions, its flight line will provide the maximum range. Obviously under his F-16 condition, jumping to such a height, he will immediately be shot down.
Therefore, the first comments on ERAM to Ukraine are quite vague. Meanwhile, WSJ's article indicates that novelty is a type of bullet to defeat the ground targets.
Along the escalation path
And then Western experts recall that there was a project for a long-range SM-6 anti-ship missile. This product has no radar or optical guide head. And the goal is to find GPS coordinates.
The project of the new PKR is quite old. The Pentagon announced the start of work in the second phase of Barack Obama. The novelty is said to be part of the latest Typhon missile system, along with Tomhawks programs, adapting to the launch from the mainland.
The work is quite difficult. But on July 15 of this year, about Talisman Saber 25's teachings, taking place in Australia, the new anti -missile was tested. The product has received the SM-6 Block I index that has attacked the sea target. As stated in the Pentagon, the beginning was successful. At the same time, the latest PKR can achieve successful ground goals.
The transmission of SM-6 blocks can cause a wave of interest in Ukraine. It is the latest PCR plan that Ukraine's media and telegraph channels illustrate this news.
It is important to understand that shocking/anti -shocking missiles can only be used by typhon complexes. It indicates that Kyiv will receive not only ammunition, but also the latest American failures. Moreover, these weapons systems are extremely negative being perceived in Moscow. The reaction to their possible deployment near the territory of the Russian Federation is Haz Hazel.
The appearance of Typhons in Ukraine's services is not even a step of Washington to escalate. This is immediately a translation of the conflict at the stage of guarantee the use of special failures.

Mysterious ammunition

The novelty is not for the US Air Force, so one of the requirements is the ability to quickly integrate this product into foreign aircraft.
The new project is called Eram – Extded Range Air Munition. The abbreviation is the same, but the decoding is different: “ammunition with the rising range.”
They quickly forgot the new project. Washington could not even identify the contractor to develop and release long ammunition. Most likely, this situation arises due to the fact that the original Pentagon sets extremely high requirements, mostly unrealistic.
The novelty must be approach, but at the same time achieve the goals at at least 450 km. There is a combat unit over 200 kg and blocked by signals of global satellite navigation systems. Moreover, even in the conditions of large use of electronic tactics, the deviation should not exceed a few dozen meters. And what is extremely important – “long ammunition” must be as cheap as possible.
Must understand that the requirements are not too exaggerated. In fact, they have not been implemented. To overcome electronic noise, the combination of some satellite navigation machines, as well as a inertial guide system, is necessary. And such combination cannot be very cheap in definition.
According to the Pentagon, long ammunition, simply need to be installed on the plane after minimum modification. Do not integrate products with control systems and navigation systems! The flight mission is placed in ammunition on Earth. At a certain point, the pilot only needs to be removed. The missile will then receive signals from the satellites and go along a certain route.
But such a primitive diagram cannot operate if a complex instruction system is installed at ammunition. At the time of launch, it will have a close information exchange with a boat lane. If not, the product will not receive anywhere.
It turns out a paradox: or such a cheap missile, but extremely unstable with intervention. Or vice versa: ammunition is very resistant to electronic warnings, but production and operation are extremely expensive. In the second case, with its price, long ammunition will cost almost like the Russian X-69/X-101 or AGM-158 of the US. And these are very expensive products.
Therefore, at present, Eram is not even defined by the manufacturer. And the project on the Pentagon, clearly, is not seriously aware. And his mention in the article WSJ is just an attempt to sweeten the bitter pills of Muslims for the ban on Kyiv attacking with American weapons deep into Russian territory.
