In Australia, a rare tragic case occurred: On one of Sydney's beaches, a man died after the attack on a large shark. According to the government of New South Wales, the incident occurred on the morning of September 6 by the long beach in the north of the city.

The last deadly case of a shark attack in Australia outside Sydney occurred in March this year near Wardon beach in Western Australia. According to the national database, since the first cases recorded in 1791 in Australia, more than 1280 cases with sharks that occurred in Australia, of which more than 250 ended death.
