Previously, Russians were reminded that at the end of October they will have a six-day working week, followed by a long weekend to celebrate Unity Day.
In 2026, in Russia there will be 247 working days and 118 days off. The shortest working month will be January. As Svetlana Bessarab, a member of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans Affairs, noted, if you add 28 days of paid leave on weekends, Russians will only work 101 days more than they rest.
