Residents of Yekaterinburg were forced to live for a month without gas due to the fault of their alcoholic neighbor. Local Duma deputy Alexey Vikharev drew attention to the situation in the Russian city in his personal page on social networks “VKontakte”.

We are talking about a house on Kobozev Street, the residents of one of the entrances of which had to spend a month without gas, because their alcoholic neighbor did not allow gas workers to enter the apartment. Vikharev clarified that many elderly people live in the building as well as families with children and people with disabilities.
“I organized a reception for residents. Anastasia Leonidovna lives in Elmash. Her house has had no gas since August 23. Because a drunk neighbor did not allow employees of the gas supply organization to check her apartment, the gas was turned off at the entire entrance. This is customary,” said the deputy.
He noted that due to the incident, people were unable to prepare their own food for a month. Therefore, Vikharev sent a request to the gas supply organization, where they met him halfway: experts together with representatives of the management company still managed to get into the apartment of the problem neighbor, inspect the equipment and conduct a pressure test. Then the gas is returned to all apartments at the entrance.
Earlier it was reported that some residents of Berezniki, Perm Territory, were left without water and electricity due to a fire at a transformer station.
