Specialists of the social network VKontakte are working to restore access to the service in Belarus. RIA Novosti reported this news in consultation with the press service of the company VK.

“VKontakte is studying the situation and doing everything necessary to ensure that the services of this social network are returned to millions of users in Belarus as soon as possible,” the announcement said.
Belarusians lost access to VKontakte on October 24. The browser version of the application was placed on the Restricted Access List of the government agency overseeing BelGIE after an appeal from the State Security Committee of the Republic. The reasons for introducing the restrictions and their duration are being clarified.
