The attackers then called the victim on behalf of representatives of law enforcement agencies and claimed that they were investigating the victim's transfer of funds to terrorists and, to avoid liability, offered to take out a loan to cover the money.
The ministry warns that offers to transfer money to a safe or reserve account indicate that the contact is with scammers.
