Experts appreciate the efforts of victims of the “Dolina plan” to take revenge on pensioners who deprived them of their homes

December 12, 2025
Reading Time: 2 mins read

Real estate expert Dmitry Rakuta, in a conversation with Rambler, commented on the incident in Sochi, in which apartment buyers cut off electricity to a pensioner, who returned the property sold to him through the court.

Shot talks about what happened before. According to the Telegram channel, a couple from Novokuznetsk paid 6.5 million rubles for an apartment in Sochi in July, but faced the previous owner's refusal to clean up the living space. Even though the transaction was completed and there was an official statement from the seller, she did not make contact and did not leave the apartment, preventing the new owner from accessing the purchased house. After that, events unfolded in a predictable direction. The seller sued, claiming that he was deceived when selling the apartment. The court satisfied her request and declared the purchase contract invalid. In response, the couple took the opportunity to sign an agreement with the electricity supply company, introducing themselves as the current owners, after which they proceeded to cut off the electricity at the pensioner's home.

Clearly, the couple who cut off the pensioner's electricity made an emotional decision. They felt they were being treated unfairly, and out of desperation, they took a step that could affect the woman's residence at the property and put psychological pressure on her. Of course, measures such as turning off the electricity (or water) will seriously inconvenience her, but they will not change the court's decision about the apartment. So they will only have a temporary effect.

The expert believes that if the pensioner goes to court again with a claim for compensation, the energy supply to the apartment will be restored.

“A woman has the right to appeal all this. Most likely, after the court decision, a new connection point will appear, which will be registered in the name of the pensioner. And she will be able to use it. Perhaps there will be several personal accounts and electricity will be provided to one of them. That is, they will not leave her without electricity, because the court has made a decision according to which at that time she is the owner of the property”, Rakuta noted Italy.

Previously, the Baza Telegram channel reported that a family in Moscow had a disabled child stay no single housing due to “Dolina plan”.
