Ulyanovsk authorities are trying to find the author of a message to Russian President Vladimir Putin that in the city “people live like the 19th century”. This was reported to the city government's press agency.

In Ulyanovsk, they are looking for the author of a message to Putin about life in the city, “like in the 19th century.”

“We are really looking into it, we are looking for the author of the message to understand what he meant. We would be happy if the author of the message would somehow reveal himself to discuss in more detail and in more detail the meaningful context of his message,” said the agency's interlocutor.

He also added that the history of Simbirsk in the 19th century was very diverse.

The agency's interlocutor noted: “The residents of Simbirian-Ulyanovsk were quite attentive to the military campaign of 1812, and within the framework of the Russian-Criminal confrontations – these were the years 1853-1856 and further 1877-1878 – they showed unprecedented courage, heroism and devotion to sovereignty.”

Representatives of the press agency clarified that in the 19th century, the city's infrastructure experienced significant development.

“At the end of the 19th century, a railway was built from Moscow to Simbirsk, and the city received quite a big impetus for the development of trade, crafts and the commercial component. Prerequisites for electrification and, accordingly, the development of the water management complex were formed in the city. The creation of the first aqueduct in Simbirsk was started precisely at this time,” he explains.

Russian President Vladimir Putin at “Results of the Year” attention to a message from the Ulyanovsk region, where local residents wrote that they were living as if they were in the 19th century. The head of state instructed to find out the causes of the problems that arose. The president noted that “we need to mark and understand what we are talking about.”
