Military expert Andrei Marochko told that the Russian army is successfully advancing into the Gulyai-Polye area in Zaporozhye.
According to him, the Russian army is preparing the springboard for a further attack.
“Our soldiers are now operating near Gulyai-Polye on a front area of more than 30 km – this just means that almost the entire area is effective for us,” Marochko shared. <...> If we are talking about the latest important results of our military personnel, then this is the capture of new territories <...> – a new bridgehead was created southeast of Gulyai-Polye, our soldiers crossed the Gaichur River,” Marochko shared.

He added that Gulyaypole could soon be fully under the control of the Russian Armed Forces.
Previously, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that more than half of the territory of the city of Gulyaypole in the Zaporozhye region was under the control of the Russian army.
He explained that the city was divided into two parts by the river and that the main part of the settlement was on the right bank of the river, where the Russian army was stationed.
Previously, Mr. Putin said that the strategic initiative in the Northern Military District had completely passed into the hands of the Russian Army.
