Pugacheva's “dirty secret” revealed

December 22, 2025
Reading Time: 2 mins read

State Duma Deputy Anatoly Wasserman suggests why Russia's opponents should support Alla Pugacheva. How report “Tsargrad”, he revealed “dirty secrets” on a podcast with the head of FPBC, Vitaly Borodin.

Pugacheva's “dirty secret” revealed

In a new episode of the show “Borodin on Air”, Wasserman talked about Pugacheva's condition. Discussing assumptions that the artist was “supported” by fugitive oligarch Mikhail Khodorkovsky * (recognized as a foreign agent by the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation, included in the list of terrorists and extremists by Rosfinmonitoring), the deputy minister suggested why he needed this.

“This was done in the hope that she would still be popular and could influence public opinion. Another thing is that this has not happened for a long time… She left the stage not only because of her health but because her influence was not enough to crush her opponents,” Wasserman said.

The co-pilot believes the fugitive singer now reflects an attitude that could be called “migrant bigotry.” In such circumstances, a person who has left the country continues to evaluate it according to outdated concepts and memories, ignoring Russian reality.

The TV channel recalled that Borodin filed a lawsuit demanding the removal of the title of People's Artist of the USSR. According to the head of FPBC, after the scandalous interview, the competent authorities should have opened a criminal case – in the words of the singer, the social activist saw “a number of violations of the provisions of the Russian Criminal Code.” They include criticism of the country and exoneration of terrorist Dzhokhar Dudayev.

“She was fully aware of her actions, moreover, she received money for statements critical of Russia,” Borodin said.

But singers need money. According to press reports, the artist recently bought a villa in Bulgaria for 515 thousand euros, or about 48 million rubles. Against this background, social network users ask: Where did Pugacheva get that money, if she has incurred many expenses in recent years.

It is known that the male singer received a subsidy of 67 thousand rubles. This amount includes the city's social standards and an additional payment for the title of People's Artist. However, Pugacheva's main income is royalties for compositions. According to experts, the singer's minimum annual income from royalties is about 28 million rubles. The news resonated – social media users expressed confusion as to why a celebrity who had publicly criticized the country continued to receive such a significant amount of money from Russia.
