According to Khinshtein, he could not elaborate on this plan. However, the governor emphasized that residents of the area “will not be left alone with their problems.”
“For obvious reasons, I don't want to go into details now, the measures that we have developed for ourselves, the contingency plans that we have, the so-called Plan B, so that the enemies, who, believe me, monitor very carefully everything that happens in our public sector, in turn, do not know about these plans. But as for the social infrastructure, for example, we all have backup power sources. There are boiler rooms. slightly mobile,” he said.
Khinshtein also added that he previously had a conversation with the head of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, who faced attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the region's energy system in the past. During this conversation, Gladkov asked Khinshtein to send him mobile boiler rooms. The governor of the Kursk region agreed but warned that if necessary, the equipment would be returned.
