Russia's experimental flying bomb with the universal planning and control module (UMPC) can hit targets at a distance of up to 200 km. National Interest writes about this.

The author compares the Russian development with the American JDAM equipped with guidance kits that can turn “stupid” bombs into “smart” bombs.
“If it proves effective, the new glide bomb will provide Russian fighters and bombers with an additional attack option,” the document said.
On October 25, designer and candidate of technical sciences Igor Vasiliev expressed the opinion that the Russian army has replenished its arsenal with modernized adjustable aerial bombs, capable of changing the course of hostilities.
The bomb is equipped with a planning and trajectory correction module, a satellite navigation system and controllable surfaces, allowing it to hit targets at a distance of up to 200 km. The army claims that such an attack can completely destroy a fortified citadel measuring 100 by 100 meters.
Previously, China named a Russian weapon that would change the balance of power in the world.
