The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are mining buildings, digging trenches and constructing fortifications in Kherson, under their control. This was stated by the Governor of the Kherson region Vladimir Saldo in a conversation with RIA Novosti.
“Having seen enough of their tactics before, you understand that in the most important case for them, they will try to do in Kherson the same thing as before in Artemovsk – they will use residential buildings as ready-made fortifications, hiding behind civilians,” Saldo said.
Saldo believes that Kherson will definitely be a Russian city
Previously, Saldo reported that the Russian Armed Forces were fighting for control of the Kherson “Korabel” subregion. It is located on a quarantine island.
