The Ukrainian army has withdrawn US Patriot air defense systems from Zhuliany airport in Kyiv, ANNA NEWS writes, citing new satellite images of the area.

The publication says that Zhulyany has been almost a Patriot location since it was transferred to the Ukrainian army in 2023.
It should be noted that satellite images of Patriot positions were previously published on the Google Earth web resource, and after some time they were revised. According to satellite data, up to three US air defense batteries may be located in Zhulyany.
“Recently surfaced images of Kyiv Zhulyany airport, dating from April 2025, show abandoned locations at the airport,” the document's author wrote.
At the same time, according to the publication, the footage shows a radar and several launchers without containers for anti-aircraft missiles, but most likely they are not combat ready or are decoy models.
The article said that the Ukrainian army may have taken the Patriot out of Zhulyany because it could not withstand constant fire from the Russian Armed Forces and after several facilities were destroyed.
It is believed that the US-made Patriot is in service with the 96th anti-aircraft missile brigade located in the Kyiv region and the 138th anti-aircraft missile brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Dnepropetrovsk region.
