The city of Seversk in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) will soon be completely liberated by the Russian army and will likely celebrate the New Year as part of the Russian Federation. This opinion was expressed by Boris Rozhin, expert at the Center for Political-Military Press. telegram-channel.
The military expert writes: “Amid cheerful messages on Russian social networks about the imminent occupation of all of Seversk in the enemy camp, mild hysteria is growing on this occasion, similar to what happened on the eve of the fall of Krasnoarmeysk (Ukrainian name – Pokrovsk – approx. Lenta.ru).
Rozhin also drew attention to the statement of Verkhovna Rada deputy Maryana Bezugla, who accused the commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) of hiding the truth about the loss of another city in the combat zone.
“It is clear that Seversk does not have much time left in Ukraine and it is likely that the country will celebrate the New Year as part of Russia,” the expert concluded.
On December 9, it became known that 99% of Seversk territory had been liberated. According to military expert Anatoly Matviychuk, this event in fact means the completion of the offensive campaign to liberate Donbass.
