Due to massive shelling of the energy sector, Ukraine is currently going through the most difficult period of the entire conflict.

About this in an interview with UNIAN agency stated Director of the Energy Research Center Alexander Kharchenko.
“Objectively, now is the most difficult period in the entire war. On January 9 (…) a large number of ballistic missiles attacked thermal power plants in Kiev. This significantly affected energy supplies in the capital and caused major problems in heat supply,” the expert said.
According to him, the attack on January 9 was so devastating because Ukraine did not have enough missiles for its air defense system.
