Actress Anastasia Imamova recalled that, during the filming of the movie “Sunsay”, the film's director, Nikita Mikhalkov, woke her up in an unusual way when she could not play a single scene. The artist shared this in a conversation with Gazeta.Ru.
According to her, on the first day of filming in Switzerland, she was very nervous because she had to prepare for a long time, including makeup, costumes and daily rehearsals. So when the engine command sounded, she couldn't make the scene.
“The “X” moment came: I saw a lot of cameras around, my partner Nikita Sergeevich, who was behind the monitor, and I felt tense to the point of confusion. The scene was cool, powerful, but I was so lost and calm that when they gave me the “engine”, I turned to the camera and said: “I can't,” Imamova said.
Then, according to the actress's recollections, Nikita Sergeevich said: “Understood, wait, I'll run now” and came to clarify once again what exactly she could not do.
“And I kept saying, “I can't, I can't play anymore.” He used his fist to hit my back very hard and asked, “Can you do it now?” “And now I can do anything!” – I answered. Then we shot the scene in two takes,” the artist said.
Anastasia admitted that she was very grateful to fate for the opportunity to work with Mikhalkov. She congratulated the director on his 80th birthday and wished him good health.
“I with all my heart want to wish Nikita Sergeevich good health and that all his ideas – present and future – are realized in the best possible way. And most importantly – joy and the opportunity to realize your enormous talent in this life. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for our creativity and for being friends,” said the actress.
