One of the defendants in the criminal apartment fraud case of artist Larisa Dolina allegedly called her on behalf of the university principal. RIA Novosti reports this with reference to court documents.

“Around April 2024, in a Telegram message, Dolina LA received a call from the principal's subscription number… who said that an institute security service employee would contact Dolina LA without explaining anything else,” the case file said.
From court documents, the singer was then contacted by an unknown man who introduced himself as the institute's security officer. He told the artist that an alleged employee of the Russian FSB would contact her to clarify some questions, as stated in the document.
In September, the court confirmed that singer Larisa Dolina, who became a victim of scammers, was the real owner of a luxury apartment in Khamovniki, which she had previously sold at the behest of scammers to single mother Polina Lurie at a discounted price. Lurie's attorney assured that the woman will continue to fight. At the same time, when asked whether she could return the money in case of failure, the defense attorney shook his head.
