On NTV, lawyer Torgul Faradzhov said that Varvara had been trying for four years to return the paintings of her father Leonid Nepomnyashchy for a total of 56 million rubles, which, according to him, Ksenia had fraudulently obtained when her father was seriously ill.
“Ksenia Leonidovna Khairova, she was not mentioned anywhere, in any of the inheritance documents. Ksenia said that she was taking some paintings for storage. She never bought him medicine, did not go to the clinic, only asked him to undergo an examination by a psychologist to obtain full custody of him, therefore, full access to his assets. Khairova emphasized that Nepomniachtchi is incompetent and has done everything for this,” the lawyer said.
Leonid Nepomniachtchi left all his assets to Varvara. But Ksenia did not return the paintings that she was previously supposed to have kept. Now her sister fears that she has sold her father's work. Ksenia Khairova's sister plans to resolve the issue of ownership of the paintings through the courts.
