Trip to Kyiv and new projects: where is actress Maria Pirogova now?

Career

Maria Pirogova was born on January 12, 1990 in Moscow. She graduated from the Shchukin Theater School. The actress is famous for her roles in the television series “Interns” and “Molodezhka”.

In total, her filmography includes more than 30 works, including roles in the films “Good Intentions”, “Breakfast in Bed”, “Perfect Choice” and “The Snow Maiden Against Everyone”.

The projects “Ideal Wife”, “Balabol-9”, “Balabol-10” and “Transporter”, in which Maria Pirogova participated, will be released soon.

At the same time, the actress wrote poetry and noted that her mother insisted on publishing an anthology and leaving the acting profession, but Pirogova herself “had no such idea.”

“I understand that the acting profession is deeply ingrained in my skin, I cannot escape it. I am aware that I will never leave the profession completely,” the actress shared her thoughts.

Personal life

Maria Pirogova dated her colleague Danila Yakushev for a year. However, currently the artist does not say anything about his personal life. At the same time, in 2023, she noted that she had put it on hold.

“For certain reasons, my personal life is in freeze mode. I can say that in addition to personal life, you can do a lot of other things,” Pirogova admitted.

What Pirogova said about Ukraine

Maria Pirogova visited Ukraine in 2021 after a three-year ban on entering the country ended.

“Kyiv, I'm back! I'm sorry for the time lost without you. I was banned from entering the country for three years, if anyone doesn't know, but now I'm here again,” the artist wrote.

At the same time, she did not publicly say anything about Russia's special activities in Ukraine.

Let us recall that earlier the star of the TV series “Brigada” Ekaterina Guseva announced her support for the special campaign. She often visits Donbass with concerts and humanitarian missions, and also visits soldiers of the Russian Armed Forces in hospitals. The actress is sure that at this time it is necessary to focus efforts on developing patriotism in children.
