The Epic Games Store is hosting a free giveaway for Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.
This is a metroidvania that appeared in 2019. It was developed by Koji Igarashi, the game designer responsible for Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (1997) – one of the most famous installments of the classic Konami series.
The plot is outlined as follows: “Play as Miriam, an orphan whose body is slowly turning into crystal due to an alchemical curse. To save humanity and herself, she must fight her way through the castle and defeat the magical summoner Jibel.”
The authors define their work as a combination of horror, action, platformer and RPG in the atmosphere of 18th century England.
The promotion with the opportunity to add Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night for free to your library will last until 19:00 Moscow time on December 24. After that, the price will return to the standard 1,499 rubles.
