Analytics agency GSD has shared data on video game sales in Europe for the week ending November 30. None of the week's new products claimed the top spot, but overall sales remained up – all thanks to Black Friday discounts. And the first place in terms of number of copies sold (and even in terms of revenue!) went to EA Sports FC 26.
The football simulation game was purchased more times than Hogwarts Legacy or Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. In addition, compared to last week, the shooter Battlefield 6 dropped out of the top three and took fourth place. And exactly in the middle is Red Dead Redemption 2 – the western that surpassed It Takes Two and Grand Theft Auto V.
In the list of highest-grossing games, recent hits dominate the classics. For example, Pokemon Legends: ZA takes fourth place, considering only cartridges. Ghost of Yotei ranked 7th but did not reach the top 10 in terms of number of copies sold.

But data on the sale of game consoles is provided by the NielsenIQ agency. True, only the UK is included in the calculation. There, PlayStation 5 took the unconditional lead, becoming the driving force in growth in revenue from device sales by 14%. Sony's total console market share last week was 62%.
Next was the Nintendo Switch 2, which accounted for 23% of console sales during Black Friday week. Both Xbox Series models accounted for 10%, while the first Nintendo Switch hit the 5% mark. Note that in the United States, the industry giants were suddenly overtaken by the little-known Nex Playground AI.
