Outer Worlds 2 frequently presents the player with difficult or unclear decisions, and one of them appears soon after starting the game, when the plot requires you to infiltrate the station. PC Gamer Portal speakwhat will happen if you use automatic mechanical module.

To get this module, you need the engineer skill level 1 or the “Ingenuity” perk. Any check one way or another will allow you to choose the car mechanical module.
Then, after removing the module from the Guard machine in the security area, go to the next room, deal with the guards and activate the control panel to proceed to the next stage of the plan to infiltrate the station. Although de Vries warns players that it is better to disable the mech, the module can still be used here.
The automech module could make the remaining segments of the station much easier as it would force all the mechs to fight against the Prtectorate, making the next part of the mission easier. If the player fails to convince the guard, he will have to fight a large group of robots – mecha allies will make the battle easier.
De Vries will complain that the player has gone against the instructions, but activating the mechs will not affect the global plot in any way.
