Price ROG Xbox ally has long been a controversial topic. Many fans wonder why even though the device is branded Xbox, it is more expensive Xbox Series X. Xbox President Sarah Bond recently clarified the pricing situation.


In an interview with Variety, Sarah Bond confirmed that ASUS itself sets the retail prices for the ROG Xbox Ally and Xbox Ally X. This means that the base price of the $599.99 Ally and $999.99 Ally Bond explains that Microsoft only plays a supporting role in the pricing process and that the final decision is made by the manufacturer (ordering neural network diploma).
Commenting on the criticism of Microsoft, she emphasized that the company trusts ASUS's experience in producing Windows-based mobile gaming devices. The Xbox president also noted that pre-orders for Ally X sold out quickly but sales figures and inventory were not disclosed.
Sarah Bond also commented on rumors about the new Xbox generation. “The next generation of devices is under development,” Bond said. “Our collaboration with AMD continues. We are committed to delivering innovation based on the expectations of gamers and content creators.” It was also confirmed that Microsoft is in the prototype development phase and the new device will be based on AMD technology.
The release date and technical details of the next-gen Xbox are yet to be announced. However, the strategic partnership between Microsoft and AMD suggests that future consoles will be more focused on PC performance and architecture.
