The British division of PlayStation announced the launch of a rental program for PlayStation 5 consoles. As reported by TechPowerUp, the minimum cost of the offer is £9.95 (about 1 thousand rubles) per month and depends on the version of the device and the term of the contract.
Base price includes rental of PlayStation 5 Digital Edition with 825 GB storage for 36 months. In this case, the total payment will be £358.20 (about 37.7 thousand rubles). When choosing a contract with a term of 24 and 12 months, the monthly payment will increase to £ 14.59 and £ 10.49 (about 1.5 and 1.1 thousand rubles, respectively), and the total amount – to £ 251.76 and £ 175.08 (about 26.5 and 18.5 thousand rubles, respectively).
The program also includes other modifications, including PlayStation 5 Pro. Additionally, peripherals are also available for rent: DualSense Edge controller, PlayStation VR2 virtual reality headset, and PlayStation Portal.
A renewable lease with a monthly payment of £19.49 (about 2 thousand rubles) is available separately. There is no set time – users can cancel the service at any time upon returning the device.
