Traditional version of Famitsu in Japan interviewed local developers on their favorite games in 2025. The creators of many popular games revealed which projects they miss the most from the past 12 months.
The most voted game is Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, heavily inspired by Japanese role-playing games. Next up is American studio Sucker Punch's action game Ghost of Yotei about 15th century Japan, and stylish horror game Urban Myth Dissolution Center rounds out the top three.
The top 5 also includes other Japanese games for Switch 2 – Donkey Kong Bananza and Mario Kart World.
