The creator of YouTube channel ElAnalistaDeBits compared the Nintendo Switch 2 and ROG Xbox Ally X portable consoles, testing their speed, graphics, battery life, and ergonomics.

There's no arguing that the Switch 2 takes the lead when it comes to loading speeds – the console boots up in 13 seconds, while the ROG Xbox Ally X takes nearly 19 seconds. When restarting, Nintendo's advantage is even more noticeable – 18 seconds compared to 54.
In autonomous tests, both systems gave roughly the same results – about two hours in maximum performance mode. However, when limiting power consumption to 17 W, the Asus/Microsoft panel can operate for an hour longer.
In terms of ergonomics, the Switch 2 also has advantages: it is thinner, lighter and has a larger screen (0.9 inches). But in terms of pure performance, ROG Xbox Ally X takes the lead.

In Cyberpunk 2077, the console produces 70–80 fps, while the Switch 2 is limited to 40 frames even in Performance mode. In Hogwarts Legacy, the gap is smaller – 30-40 fps vs 30 fps, and in light games like Hollow Knight: Silksong, both systems show more than 120 fps.
The main advantage of the Switch 2 is image quality. Thanks to DLSS, scaling looks significantly better than FSR on the ROG Ally X: less artifacts, more detail and image stability.
As a result, the Switch 2 wins on convenience, speed, and image quality, while the ROG Xbox Ally X wins on raw power and installation flexibility.
