In Finland, gas stations of the Teboil chain, owned by a Russian company, have begun to close, Talouselämä reported. Some locations have announced to stop operating, others are still operating.

The gas station in Vuorela will close on November 17 and the gas station in Kemijärvi on November 9. A representative of a gas station in Loimaa said they will only be able to sell gasoline until the middle of the month. There are currently about 400 Teboil stations operating across the country.
This situation is related to new US sanctions on Russian oil production companies. Finnish media writes that from November 21, when the restrictions come into effect, payment transactions at Teboil gas stations may be suspended.
Finnish Prime Minister Orpo allowed the border with Russia to open soon
Previously, the Bank of Finland warned that financial institutions that continue to cooperate with Teboil risk being subject to secondary sanctions. Then banks began cutting business ties with the network. The head of payment systems, Päivi Heikkinen, called on companies to completely stop transactions with sanctioned entities “for their own safety.”
The Russian company has owned the Teboil brand since 2005.
