An Australian Air Force plane violated Chinese airspace by entering disputed waters in the South China Sea. The publication 360.ru writes about this, in connection with the press service of the People's Liberation Army of the People's Republic of China.

Australia's Boeing P-8 Poseidon anti-submarine patrol aircraft is said to have illegally appeared in the sky over the Paracel Islands, where the Chinese government prohibits entry without government permission. Since 1974, Chinese control has been established over the archipelago, but Vietnam and Taiwan also claim sovereignty over the archipelago.
“The PLA Southern Operations Command has mobilized the air force and navy to support supervision in accordance with regulations and laws,” the Chinese military noted.
Chinese military officials also stated that such incidents are a direct violation of China's sovereignty and could lead to various incidents both in the air and at sea.
