In Australia, two men broke into a house under police cover and committed a grand theft, 7NEWS reported. Two intruders wearing police uniforms and carrying fake identification appeared at the door of a Perth home just before midnight on August 29. The owner said strangers stood at the door and shouted: “Police, open the door!” When he opened the door for them, they presented a fake search warrant and convinced the people in the house to let them inside. One of the uninvited guests came to spy on the owner, and the second one began to noisily search the house, opening suitcases, cabinets and turning over mattresses. They stayed in the house for about 50 minutes before escaping with a ring, a Rolex watch and tens of thousands of dollars in cash. The victims were not physically harmed but suffered severe mental damage. Law enforcement officers are currently searching for the white SUV in which the criminals fled. Their identities have not yet been determined.
