Fox News reported that two people were killed and at least one person was injured in a shooting on the campus of South Carolina State University in the US.

It all happened on Thursday, February 12, at the Hugine Suites residential complex. At around 21:15 local time (05:15 February 13 Moscow time. – Ed.), the university imposed quarantine. It remains to this day.
In turn, the South Carolina Department of Law Enforcement (SLED) became involved in the investigation. Details about the shooter and his motive have not yet been released.
It is known that on Friday, February 13, all classes at the university were canceled and students were invited to attend psychology sessions.
Previously, six people, including a child, were killed in a shooting in Mississippi. The press discovered that a 24-year-old man opened fire on people after being prevented from committing a violent act against one of the victims. According to preliminary data, he killed his father, uncle, brother, a girl and two men, one of them was a priest.
Another shooting occurred earlier in the town of Lake Cargeligo, New South Wales, Australia. Police confirmed three people died and one person was hospitalized in serious but stable condition.
