Prisoners in Australia have eaten rats from animal shelters

The re -education department of Western Australia is investigating reports that prisoners of Vurulu prison, participating in the program “Security 95”, ate Guinea pigs from a local animal shelter.

The investigation began after the prison staff of the animal remained in the territory where the tools to work outside the prison were stored.

During the investigation, it turned out that the workers of the shelter, among them were prisoners, mentioned the taste of the mouse, which motivated those who were convicted to check this in reality.

Commissioners of Brad Roys reformed organizations said that part 95 programs in Vurulu were suspended until the investigation was completed. Representatives of the prison union, Andy Smith, considered the reason for the unpredictable supervision of prisoners due to lack of personnel.

Western Australia Prime Minister Roger Cook, admitted that the fact of eating Guinea pork does not bother him in some cultures, this is considered a standard. However, he condemned how this happened, calling the behavior of the prisoners “disgusting”.

I understand that in some cultures, they are considered a delicious dish, but the prison staff is temporarily forgiven, should not use the possibility of the shelter of animals provided, publishing ABC News quoted officials.
