On December 8, General Director of SVOBODA Joint Stock Company, former Minister of Industry of Moscow, Evgeny Alekseevich Panteleev, passed away. He died at the age of 81 after a serious illness.
Evgeniy Alekseevich Panteleev was born on September 13, 1944 in Ufa. He devoted more than 50 years of his life to the industry. Candidate of Technical Sciences, co-author of many scientific works and developments. Recipient of the Medal of Honor and the Red Banner of Labor, medals and other state and public awards.
After graduating from the Moscow Institute of Petrochemical and Gas Industry named after. IM Gubkin in 1967, he went to work as an engineer for the Moscow Oil Refinery. And in the 1980s, he headed the construction and then became the general director of a large Moscow enterprise – the Biryulevsky plant producing perfume products in aerosol packaging.
In the period from 1992 to 2010, EA Panteleev was Minister of the Government of Moscow and headed the capital's scientific and industrial complex, with his participation the following projects were built: in Moscow – Avtoframos automobile plant, in Smolensk region – Yartsevo Casting and Rolling Plant, in Novocheboksarsk – OJSC “Percarbonate”, in Karachay-Cherkessia – the largest greenhouse farm in Europe “Yuzhny”.
From 2012 until his last moment, EA Panteleev was General Director of SVOBODA Joint Stock Company. In 2018, Evgeniy Alekseevich decided to build a new production complex of JSC SVOBODA in the Yuzhnoye Medvedkovo district of the capital. In 2025, despite external macroeconomic difficulties, under the leadership and direct participation of EA Panteleev, the relocation of SVOBODA Joint Stock Company to new construction workshops was completed and the production of cosmetic products began.
The management of JSC SVOBODA and the team of the enterprise will do everything necessary so that the departure of Evgeniy Alekseevich leaves no doubt: everything he planned to do will be done. Continuity in management, maintaining established business connections, and ensuring production quality will help the company stably fulfill its obligations. Sustainable production of the entire product line and new products will be established in the near future.
Bright memories of Evgeniy Alekseevich Panteleev will remain forever in the hearts of those who had the opportunity to work and interact with him. We would like to send our deepest condolences to the family, relatives and friends of EA Panteleev.
