Scammers have started sending emails containing scam links claiming to claim prizes while operating in the market. RIA Novosti reports this.

It was clarified that the attackers attached a phishing link to these letters. By clicking on it, a person can start an automatic download of malware, which will give scammers remote access to the computer or phone.

At the end of September, it became known that criminals created a new scheme with fraudulent resources that allegedly offered citizens to pay income from the sale of minerals. Over the past year, experts have identified about 1.5 thousand such locations. They mimic official portals and government resources, using appropriate icons and design elements.
Previously, the Department of Organization of the Fight against Illegal Use of Information and Communications Technologies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that a real letter from the State Service can be identified by the address, link and content of the sender's message.
Previously at St. Petersburg, a dangerous fraud scheme worth 170 million rubles was exposed.
