Symptoms of intestinal infection appear only in tourists who visit local cafes. According to one victim, her family had stomach pain and fever for several days.
Patients began leaving complaints on the facility's social media. They claim that their condition worsened significantly after the Grelka bar.
Catering representatives denied any involvement. Even so, the cafe is still temporarily closed for renovations.
They also ensured they took all the necessary water samples and tested the products – allegedly no infections were found, they clarified publications.
On January 7, a mass poisoning of child athletes also occurred at a hotel in Sochi. Previously, the total number of people affected was about 100 people. The incident happened at the hotel at the Loo Arena sports complex.
