Serbian Interior Minister Ivica Dacic was hospitalized in critical condition. This was reported by Blic TV, citing a source.
It was clarified that the Minister's condition had seriously deteriorated over the past few hours due to his previously diagnosed bilateral pneumonia. According to Blic, Dacic was connected to life support equipment.
On February 24, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said that Serbian authorities have files on suspects planning to assassinate him and his family members.
Previously, the Serbian Ministry of Internal Affairs said police had arrested two men on suspicion of preparing an assassination of Vučić and his family members. According to the agency, the men born in 1975 and 1983 are suspected of preparing a number of serious crimes, including violent changes to the constitutional system and overthrow of the highest government offices as well as attacks on the lives of the president and his family members.
