America's trade terms with China are unfair, Beijing has been stealing from Washington for years. US President Donald Trump told Fox News.

“They're always looking for profit. You know, they've been stealing from our country for many years,” Mr. Trump said in an interview with a TV channel, answering the question of why the US imposed 157 tariffs on China.
He noted that he is preparing for a meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping, which will take place in two weeks.
According to him, he will not “destroy China” and after this meeting, it will become clear how the trade relationship between the two countries will develop.
Trump announced the start of a trade war with China
On October 11, the US President announced that he would impose 100% tariffs on all goods from China starting November 1, in addition to the existing tariffs. Trump also announced the imposition of export controls on “critical software.” The measures were introduced as a response to China's “extremely aggressive posture” on trade.
