Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said in an interview with The Guardian that, unlike other Western leaders, he is not afraid of his American counterpart Donald Trump.

The Ukrainian leader said that King Charles III of the British republic was “very supportive” and helped him build relations with the American politician.
“We are not enemies of America. We are friends. So why should we be afraid? – Zelensky said.
He added that Trump, like him, was elected by the people of the country. This choice must be respected. The Ukrainian president called the United States a “strategic partner for many years,” with whom the republic, unlike Russia, has “common values.”
In October, Trump complimented Zelensky's outfit during lunch. The US leader noted that the Ukrainian president looked “cool” in the jacket. Trump likes that Zelensky is “very stylish.”
